Treatment for constipation

Stools become hard and difficult to pass if too much water is absorbed by the colon. Sometimes, stools are difficult to pass when the muscles of the colon do not contract as they should or contract very slowly. If none of these are the cause of constipation, the condition may be because of anismus, a condition in which the muscles in the floor of the pelvis, that is your hip, do not function normally. Anismus will make it difficult to pass stools even if you are not constipated. Treatment for constipation starts with changing your diet, and if necessary, your lifestyle. You must make sure that your diet includes a lot of foodstuff known to have high fiber content. You must take at least 25 grams of natural dietary fiber everyday.
